So yeah, I saw a sketch by a friend the other day of a floating eye ball with wings (which I thought was really cool), and decided to start sketching in the margins of my notebooks again during class (because we all know that learning doesn't actually take place in the classrooom ). Anyway, I realized that there are many parts of the human body that I simply suck at drawing - i.e. all of it. So I started practicing. I have yet to determine whether this is a good or a bad thing.

A few weeks ago, I aquired a student version of Adobe Visual Suites, which contains Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as a few other programs. I decided to put them to the test, and began drawing a female body in illustrator. That didn't go over too well, since I only have a mouse to work with, and no tablet. After a few tries, I came up with something half-way decent, and imported it into Photoshop, and thus began the long and tedious task of coloring a human body.

What's the point of all this?
